I am wanting to add the later model center to my rally wheels as some of you have done.
I have the same caps as 68 stepbed and longhornman but I need the plastic caps and lug nuts.
I found out at my last swap meet that there is a difference in lug nuts for this application. There is a skinny and a thick nut and you need the correct plastic caps for the lugs you have. The skinny caps (chrome or back) are from gm and Pontiac cars and they will require a washer to keep the center cap in position. The large lugs/(black) caps fit the late model center cap correctly.
Can anyone point me in the direction to fine these? I would like to get them from the same source so I get what will work together properly.
