Red PPG pain jobs/codes/pics
I am getting my truck painted next week and I want a bright red color. The shop uses PPG.... anyone have any pics and paint codes of a bright red PPG paint job? I like the viper red, PPG toner red and I am also liking the GM torch red.

'40 Ford, PPG Omni, GM Victory Red (that's a lot of red!) It's not a 67-72 but no one has posted up so I thought I'd share.

Re: Red PPG pain jobs/codes/pics
All paint companies make red and PPG can match all of them. Pick a red you like and don't worry that PPG can or can't make it. Paint companies strive to be able to make all colors available so that they can match them when needed... regardless who's paint was first used. The brand or year of vehicle has no "ownership" to the color either.

935115 is GM's new "pull me over red". It's what they started using on the trucks as of 2016. It's really bright if that's what you want.

Re: Red PPG pain jobs/codes/pics
A little tip for you that can save you some dollars, Torch red is for a Vette it is the same mixing number as the Victory red witch is for the trucks. I'm a John Deere man but the IH red is super bright too. Once I had a red[victory] S-10 I built and could not get a match close enough to blend, so I had them put their Profit camera on it[it turns a digital pic into a mixing formula] and it turn out to be a IH red it blended perfectly. Check out the new 2015-17 ford colors as well. They have an extremely bright red on their trucks
