Side steps

I am wanting to build or buy a set of side steps for my 72’ super Cheyenne k20. Lookin for ideas on custom sets. Was thinking of making from some DOM tube and bolting direct to frame. Anyone made custom steps?

I have a set that were made by member MikeCofield. They look and fit really nice, at least originally. I thought they were stainless, but they're not. I'm going to have to remove them and get them coated. They definitely make it easier to get in and out.

Re: Side steps

On a Blazer they mount on the rocker boxes, but if you're looking to build some you could mount them.to the frame.

Sorry, I wasn't thinking about that when I posted originally.

Re: Side steps

I bolted mine to the floor after I fabled a bracket to bolt the loops to. Very solid. I did take pics but I have no idea where to find them. I have a new desktop and a laptop and i have no clue how these things work. Give me back my windows 7.
