upper belt molding clips

Since thy don't reproduce the clips for the upper belt moldings on a 1972 burb, how has everyone been attaching the molding, tape or is there a better way, please let me know.
Thanks
Kevin

This was posted by member "jaywashburn" back in 2013. Looks like there are some plastic clips on page 74 of their truck catalog.

To those burb owners that have struggled with finding the correct moulding clips for the upper anodized aluminum trim good news.
I am currently repainting my '72 K10 & was in need of new clips as I wrecked several in the removal process. In the new TruckandCarShop catalog they have a plastic push in clip that fits perfectly. You probably want to use a silicone sealer around them as you fit them in to prevent any future water intrusion.

Re: upper belt molding clips

I took a picture of my clips and posted them a year or two ago.
I haven't seen anything that looks similar although I have read that the pickup truck clip can be modified to work. I haven't tried it.

Here's a pic from the Suburban parts for sale section
