Need Help With Front Fender Emblems

I'm in the process of installing the emblems on the 72. The truck is a "Custom 10" and the fenders are factory drilled. The CUSTOM 10 emblem goes in the upper two holes nearest the door. There are two other holes located just below the CUSTOM 10 emblem. It looks like a "DELUXE" emblem might go there. Would this be right? The truck has no SPID so I can't tell just what it is. When I got it, it was painted like a custom and had no upper or lower moldings and no emblems.

I don't think so on a 72, I believe 70 was the last year for the 350/8 under the model emblem, it moved to the front marker light area in 71

its probably either a Custom Deluxe fender or Cheyenne Super fender

Re: Need Help With Front Fender Emblems

OK,
The 8350 emblem goes under the side marker lights towards the front of the fender. I'm trying to find out what goes directly under the "CUSTOM 10" emblem. I believe it's "DELUXE".
Can anyone confirm??

Yes it would be "Deluxe"

Re: Need Help With Front Fender Emblems

The only thing that can go under the Custom/10 is the "Deluxe" in 71-72. If it is centered under the Custom/10, it's likely a Janesville truck. Left justified for all other plants, generally speaking. Same hole locations for the "Super' in a Cheyenne Super. As mentioned above, engine callout was under the Custom/10 in 69-70 only.
