gauge cluster wiring ????

I am building a 70 K10 with a 93 6.5TD and NV3500. I've been playing with the idea of useing a cluster from a 99+ chevy truck. Do the gauges run through the ECM? My 6.5 is mechanical. I'm trying to figure out what I need to make this work. Thanks.

Re: gauge cluster wiring ????

They use "serial data" to function, Wont work in you truck. The 99-06 clusters are junk anyway.
