Drag Radials

325 50 15 hoosier radial v. 295 55 15 mickey thompson radial.

Last two sets of hoosiers are out of round by bunch.
Bought some mickeys this go around. Went 295 to keep em off the fender lip.
Any tuning changes and or break in burnout tips.

Re: Drag Radials

First burn out on a new set, make it Force style.

After that I would normally hit them hard, shift almost immediately to high gear putting some high wheel speed in to them for about 4-5 seconds stationary then roll out spinning them letting off just in time to get on the brakes to prestage.

That netted me a 1.35 60' with my little 150 N20 hit dead out of the hole.

Re: Drag Radials

Well as good as the new engine acts, revs better pulls harder.

An 11.8xx and or a 1.5x would be a victory.

Then it's time to spray it. Big(er) ring gaps should be fun.
