Hood Lights/Signals Wiring Run

Just wondering if anyone has run their wires in the hood to hide them better. The only pics I can find on here are these - http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=592648
Anyone have ideas and or pictures?

On my 61 they run up between the hood stiffener and the hood itself.

Re: Hood Lights/Signals Wiring Run

I don't have a picture on how I did mine many years ago, but I ran mine under the hood stiffener brace and added a couple of holes to keep most of the wires inside that front inner structure and had the wires come back out right above the sockets on the turn signal housings. Only parts you saw was coming from the hood to the firewall. Hardly even noticed the short run of wire to the lights them selves.

That's what I'm considering. "Sounds" good I was just hoping someone had a pic. Thank you Aggie.

Then where do you plan to run the wires? Inside the hood or outside (engine compartment?

This is how I hid my wiring on my Suburban. It's been this way for quite some time, but when I get the truck done, it will look a lot cleaner and neater

Re: Hood Lights/Signals Wiring Run

If it works, it's all good in my book. I just finished wiring my bed and hood...here are a couple of photos of how I routed the park/turn signal wiring for my hood:
