if the steering box is near the firewall its a 68-70(maybe to 74) & if it's out by the radiator its the later models from (i believe) 74 to 80 something...joe

Actually I believe only 67-69 had the box behind the a-arms,and in 70 they moved it in front.68-72 nova was behind the a-arms,and in 73 it was moved in front.

i believe that TA,omega, phoenix follow suit.

Hope this helps

the steering box is up front near the rad support. so that should mean its not 67-69. and the other a arms offered through fatman is 70 - 81, so it looks like i might have figured it out with your guy's help.

I have a 47 with a 80 camaro clip. I put narrowed fat man tubular a arms on with air ride bags .I am running narrow Micky thompson front tires and could not drop the front end or turn without the narrowed (1 1/2 ") a arms. Truck rides graet with the bags.

Take the front bearing race and jot the numbers down on a piece of paper. Bring these numbers to NAPA parts house who will be able to look in their bearing catalog which list what year they're out of.

ok the camaro changed to a smaller spindler in 79-81 so the 78 -72 had the same spindles so you can take the barring and match it up the a arms are the same from 78 down to 72 that way you can tall about what year you have tell them to start with the 76 if the bearing is the same so is everthing else i have been in to camaros for a while (not saying i know everything about them no one does)
