Simple Questions I can't find an answer for

72 Blazer w/ TH350 transmission- When changing the transmission dipstick 1- can I swap the tube out for a later one with a grommet seal without any problem? and 2- does the fluid need to be drained to do the swap or can I swap it while it's full? I was caught without a pan when swapping the speedometer bullit. Don't want to repeat that. Thanks!

You will need a drain pan under it you are going to spill some when the dipstick is removed.

There are good chemicals on the market to remove oil stains from your driveway, if you choose not to use a pan

I'm using dipstick from Locarr
