Found Hill's Rod and Custom, amazing!!! Very low, I've been wanting to see a completed ride height. Lots of obstacle to drive over in my area. Love the stance.

The one in Hill's blazer is not the same one pictured in this thread. That was a custom variation that sits a bit lower.

We have a couple different height variations on the production version pictured in this thread.

Thanks Nate, would you say the Touring Coilover DM is a couple inches higher?

That blazer was built by Curt Hill of Hill's Rod & Custom. That blazer would probably do pretty good in autocross with a driver. He has a build thread with a little info on the blazer.

It is. Depending on which version you have, it could require as little as a new upper hat, or as much as a new upper hat and control arms.

When running a 28" tall tire and a 2.5" drop spindle, the Mild version has a ride height of 7" from the bottom of the frame to the ground. (We reference the bottom of the frame-rail right behind the front cab mount).

The picture shown has a tire installed that is just under 30" tall, thus the 8" measurement. When I measure my 70 that is completely stock, this equates to right at a 5" drop. The Touring version would make it a 6" drop. Keep in mind, that we have 2.5" drop spindles, so the crossmember alone would yield 2.5" of drop if using a factory height spindle.

I know you posted this awhile back. Do you have a write up on your trip? How did the 70 preform on the street with the "touring drop member"? Did you feel it was to low for everyday street driving?
