Wanted, 1970 4X4 drive shaft

I need a main drive shaft for a 1970 4X4 long bed auto truck. Located in central Missouri.

Do you need one for a 1/2 or 3/4 ton? What transfer case & trans do you have?

It's a 1/2 ton with a turbo 350, but i'm not sure which transfer case I have. I think it's a 203. How can I tell for sure?

Sounds like I have the 205 case then. I have manual lockouts on the hubs and only one shift lever. The pattern is dash- 4lo-N-2hi-4hi- seat. I usually only work on old cars and race cars. I don't know that much about the old trucks. This truck is for sale by the way.

Beau,
the original driveshaft for your truck is a huge 4inch tube. you're better of having a new one built out of smaller diameter tubing, in my opinion. you stated earlier that you mess around with race cars so i'm sure your driveline shop would give you a good deal on a custom built unit. if you're set on a oem shaft, try bill at vintage chevy truck in fremont calif, 510-651-5874. by the way, if your truck has the 350/205 combo in it, any 70-72 longbed 1/2 ton 4x4 shaft will fit.

Thanks for the info. It'll probably be much easier to just have one made.
