Disc and Drums are getting HOT??

I'm not sure what's going on?
I have pretty new disc in the front, and the back are a few years old, but how could they all be heating up?
While driving my 69 C10 they all work fine. The truck doesn't pull one way or the other when applying the brakes either....

Any quick ideas/reasons why?

Main question is: How can they all be getting hot?

Not sure exactly how hot you are talking or what circumstance, but that's how brakes work. They turn forward motion into heat when stopping. The vented discs and finned drums are designed to dissipate that heat. Aluminum wheels help with that as well.

I had a stuck caliper on my Camaro made the wheel get so hot the factory Centerline cap lost all tension in the clips and fell out. You couldn't touch the wheel it had pulled so much heat out of the system.

Brakes do get hot obviously but if they really are getting abnormally hot you could have a misadjusted brake pushrod causing all you brakes to drag all the time, would mess up your gas mileage too.

Yep, brakes get hot. I made mistake of touching disk on my then brand new 2004 CC 2500HD. Burned my finger! Ouch.

When you watch nascar races at night you can see the disc's glowing as they race by because they get so hot. Yours should not get that hot but taking all of the kenetic energy if a 2 ton truck going 60 mph and shoving all of it into some little 12 inch pieces of cast iron takes its toll.

I have had this issue several times ,aftermarket booster/master kits notorious for this issue , cpp in particular , the rod on the master is approximately 1/8 inch too long causing pressure to stay in the lines , your brakes are always on ,, if its just slight you will get hot wheels , if its bad the brakes lock after a short ride and several brake pedal applications ,,, easy fix is a washer on each bolt between the master and booster , you would not believe the hardship I went through chasing this down ,, and 2 little washers totally eliminated the problem ,, should be in the instructions provided by the manufacturer ,, Ive had the same thing with 3 different kits
