Average vehicles prob only use 2-3" of compression travel depending on spring & shock rates.

Wild83-Are you running an intercooler? Do you have pics of where it is monted and what size you got? I will be running a turbo setup similar to yours with a Borg Warner st80 modified by Forced Inductions(83mm turbine/80mm compressor w/1.10 A/R on a T4 flange)

I do have an intercooler, it's a large procharger intercooler. It's mounted behind the grill to the radiator support. I will try and get some pictures soon and post them up.
