auction hunters TV show

if you have a TV accessable, tune it to spike TV. They just bought a fairly clean and rust free California 71 GMC for $650! Oh by the way, it had a 350 under the hood and a bed full of parts. I guess I need to start going to storage unit auctions!

Check out the cargo light. It looks like they painted over it. Or just didnt unmask it. I noticed the radiator hose not on also.

Re: auction hunters TV show

Also you have to look quick at 6:42 there is no taillights, backup or rear marker lights in the truck. no front turn signals either, the inside of the bed wasn't even sprayed either, it hard to tell but looks like the carb. linkage isn't hooked up when he is messin with it

Re: auction hunters TV show

also, at 6:42, notice the cargo lamp not centered. looks to be 10 inches towards the drivers side.

Re: auction hunters TV show

I wish they didn't paint it. Would have been better just to clean it up, make safe, run well...replace missing parts here and there and then sell it.

Re: auction hunters TV show

No way that dude really paid $6k for that truck. Unless Spike subsidized the deal I just don't see it. I'm not sure any of their deals are real, it seems like they always sell their stuff for near retail to experts. Just doesn't make sense.

Re: auction hunters TV show

Look at the video again and you will see right after they buy it and check under the hood it is the same camera shot as when they show it after the paint job. Right by the fender wells you can see that the paint is still that yellow color that it was before they painted it. I'm sure after the show taped and edited everything they were just lazy or messed up and just put the same picture in twice.
