alright guys. today (actually three days) i patched a hole in the quarter of the fender. the hole was about the size of a quarter. (i didnt want to throw bondo over it ) so i made this nice little panel that was a perfect fit and turned out great.

you can tell its a flux core mig. thats why the welds looks like crap at first. but they are good welds trust me.

Looking good dean, I tried to weld a patch in a old bedside I had and it folded in on all four sides. It looked beyond repair. That looks like a solid repair and you don't have any warping.

Looks like a cool project. I hope to do the same with my old 3/4 ton some day. There aren't as many guys that restore them.
You have done some nice work on the rust repair. I have been there done that. Very time consuming to say the least.
