Question New tilt wiring problem

I installed a new repo tilt column a week or so ago and had a question then about the wire for indicator light which you guys helped me with. Now I have a problem with the wiring harness. I had turn signals, brake light and etc. with the old column, but nothing with the new one. I had to buy an adapter to go from the flat plug on the new column to the curved one in the truck. I thought that was the problem, but have remove it back to the original harness and of the 8 wires I only have power to one which is the Black one ( horn connection) When I turn the key on I have power to the purple one which is the turn signal flasher. My truck is a 69 and I have a gauge cluster. All of my fuses test good with the exception of one in the upper right hand corner next to the PNL spade. I can't think of anything that I have disconnected, it's driving me crazy. What am I doing wrong?
