Has anyone added an external Power steering reservoir for Hydro Boost

So i am getting a hydro boost system set up for my truck and I was wondering if anyone has added an external Power Steering Reservoir to the system with 2 inputs and 1 output so that you do not need to install the damn "T" fitting?
I found a new reservoir and a weld on -6 AN fitting so that i can have 2 inputs and one output.
Just wondering if anyone has done this and/or what the feelings are with doing this. I did a search and did not come up with anything from what i could find.

I have two cars with Hydroboost setups.

One has the "T" fitting and I have no issues.

The second needed a new PS pump, so when I replaced the pump I bought one that had 2 return lines.

I'd like to do a remote reservoir eventually. But I didn't like the T fitting for flow reasons so I found a brass Y fitting on Amazon instead.

Thanks for the responses. As I mentioned I just do not like the "T" Fitting, I know that it should work just fine, but I am just a bit concerned as another here was about flow. Maybe it is ok, but I also am going after all PTFE nylon covered hoses (- 6an). I just like the clean and organized look. Although the bottom return line from the reservoir is a -10 an and because it is going onto the hard barbed line on the pump I will stay with rubber hose for clamping ability.
I got the reservoir, had the 2nd -6an fitting welded on, then for the first time I tried my hand at powder coating and damn, I really like that stuff! Easy to do with very little mess and it only takes an hour, from sand blast to completion.
Anyways, I am currently running -6an PTFE lines now from the power steering pump to the power steering box, so I will re-use those fittings and run new lines for the hydro boost and the new Reservoir. Excited to have good brakes.

Thanks but I can't take credit for the build of the tank, but you can buy it from Peterson fluid, saves a whole lot of time trying to learn how to weld like that

Well, so i got my tank all done, new added -6an bung welded on, installed, new HTPE -6an lines run, double check lines for what goes where, and well the tank will not work. What i was finding is that the extra tank and fluid storage is an issue because it appears it is above the Level of the stock LS pump tank and pump and this causes an issue of overflow in the new tank. There is nothing that forces the fluid back into the stock tank that full. I actually was worried about this due to the idea that the height of the new tank is above the stock one.
So, I still cannot go with a "T" fitting and hose clamps, so i ordered new PTFE lines (-8an to match the set that came with kit but this time in black. I did not go with -8an because everything i read was using -6an and well i did not look closely at the set sent with the kit, yes im stupid, LOL), all new -8an Fittings, -8AN "Y" block, and i was reading that some are using a fuel quick disconnect fitting on the hard return line out of the power steering pump. It is 3/8" with the same ridge like the fuel filter i use on my LS, so i got one of those to see if that will work rather than have a hose clamp on. Not sure if it will work. Anyone try this?

Learned a few things that most of you probably already know, but the high pressure "In" from the power steering pump on the Hydroboost is the high pressure "In" that is closest to the accumulator, The other is a high pressure "Out" to the high pressure "In" on the steering box, and that is located nearest the frame rail and if i am not mistaken is the larger of the two fittings also. The other is the low pressure "Out" of the steering box and that goes back to the Power Steering Pump hard line return, along with the "Spitter" valve from the Hydroboost (Low pressure return). This is where the "Y" block or "T" fitting comes into play.

PSC sell a dual inlet unit with an internal filter. Glad I had the filter. The Hydroboost I bought was supposed to be rebuilt but wasn’t. As soon as I started the engine the dirt from the Hydroboost flushed back to the reservoir. The filter saved my new pump and steering box.
