Painting Cab
Getting ready to paint my 1952 cab, bare shell. Wondering best way to do it, inside and outside together ? Or spray inside then mask off and spray outside separate ? Concern is controlling overspray, seemed to get alot on the dash when priming. Shop ventilation is pretty good, have a wall exhaust fan that pulls over spray fairly well. What worked for you guys ? Thanks much

Re: Painting Cab
Paint the inside first I painted mine in sections so I could control over spray

Re: Painting Cab
If it's all one color, paint it all at the same time, otherwise get ready for a lot of masking.

Re: Painting Cab
I painted inside first. Later, I painted the door jambs and firewall. Going to put doors and fenders back on before painting exterior. It is a lot of masking, but the plastic sheet masking for automotive helps. To me, it's easier than not dragging hose through wet paint.

Re: Painting Cab
Thanks for the advice guys, think I’m going to do it all in one. Seems to make the most sense for my situation.
