Dark Fawn code

Does anyone have a modern crossover code for the Dark Fawn interior color? I can find the old PPG/Ditzler code, but it doesn't cross reference to anything now. I've crossed over the Fawn color to a modern Nissan Sunlit Sand, but can't find any info for the Dark Fawn. Thanks

Re: Dark Fawn code

Is it a color you want to use, or do you have something already painted that color your wanting to match?

Re: Dark Fawn code

I'm swapping out steering columns in my 67 GMC. The old one is Dark Fawn. Want the replacement to be the same color.

Re: Dark Fawn code

If you have something with that same color paint to take with you or can drive to a paint store ,they can use a spectrophotometer to match it exactly...

Yes, I'm fully aware of the process of color matching, but if you're familiar with the interior of these trucks, especially the mid 60s trucks with the two tone fawn colors, the dark fawn color uses a texture paint that makes the spectro give a false reading. The only part that doesn't use texture, the part I need to paint is the steering column. The spectro needs a flat surface at least 3" square to get a proper reading. There's not a flat surface on the steering column. Hence my problem.

Back to my original question. I was hoping someone had matched the dark fawn to a more current color formula like they have with the fawn which is 2003 Nissan EVO Sunlit Sand. Anybody?
