Just installed my new stainless mirrors and MIP vinyl floor covering in this weekend. Pressure washed the wood bed. More pics soon.

What do you think that bumper is off of..It seems much shorter then the stock bumpers...I would love that in chrome.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Stepsides

thanks guys, its a front bmper that i sectioned about 8-9" out of on each side. it was a pain t get it to look straight. i wasnt able to start with a straight bumper. i think it would look great with a 73-80 blazer/burb bumper

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Stepsides

Figures...It couldn't be something easy.

Are 73-80 burb or blazer rear bumpers shorter then the stock stepsides?? I would like to see them side by side.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Stepsides

I've wanted to make one of those for a while only with a rear bumper so it would have the cutout for the plate. Looks cool ! Kind of a shame the 73-87 steppers never got a rear bumper that matched the front, just a carry over from the 67-72 years. I think gm did the same thing with stepside rear fenders in the 60s too, body lines didn't even match.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Stepsides

I Have never ran it at the track , I just did a painless kit in the truck and got all lights ect working , finished the ignition up about 2 weeks ago and have only put about 100k on it since just crusing around letting everything work in , I would image mid to high 12's low 13's without the NOS and maybe mid 11's with it ? never weighed the truck
