is this worth me getting?

theres a 1972 burb frame with dana 60 front and rear 4x4 axles and the gear box for power steering no body no drive shafts nothing but the rolling parts for the 4x4 and the frame has disk brakes on front drum on back is it worth 500 bucks when plans for a 4x4 arent in the making for a year or better and how hard do you think it would be to get a body for it or even a truck body to put on it would like your guys oppinions and does anyone know if a truck body would fit right on it without alot of fab work tyvm for your oppinions I much appreciate them

It is absolutely worth $500...you can build it or you'll more than make your money back if you part it out.

Making it a project sounds to me like more hassle than it's worth, I think you're much better off finding a complete truck or burb, even if it's in bad shape, and starting there rather than starting with just a frame and axles.

The only time I would start from frame and axles is if building a truly heavy-duty custom trail rig that I'm looking at spending $20K by the time it's done.

But that doesn't mean this piece isn't worth it's price, that D60 front alone is probably worth $500. I just don't think it's worth it as a starting point for a project, but maybe as parts for ANOTHER project, or just part it out and make a few bucks on it.
