I've had a 4 post lift for 13yrs.. It's not a "brand name"... chinese made I guess. Runs on 110v, I've had my '02 C.Cab on it a couple of times but usually my old trucks. I had some health problems and didn't use it much for 6-8 mos. It works ok, but it's making the most AWFUL LOUD BUZZING NOISE when it's lifting. I've lubed every pulley and contact point I can see on it. The fluid level is ok, no leaks & it's filled with the recommended hyd. oil. I wiped the shaft on the Hyd. cyl. with hyd. oil. Sounds like the noise is coming from the BIG hydraulic cylinder under the driver side ramp. Apparently the ram is leaking pressure slightly.. it makes an occasional popping noise if it's not resting on the locks. Wish I could stop the noise.

Does it leak down after a lift?...if you think the cylinder is bypassing it may need a rebuild..
