Switch suspension hood hinge install issues.

I’m having some issues putting in my hood hinges in, got all holes drilled and holes cut. My hinge base doesn’t sit flush properly on the base of the cowl, I will have to shim 1 of the bottom holes on each side, my issue is the front 4 bolt holes have a big gap if I bolted it up and would end up having to use spacers on all 4 holes so it doesn’t distort the cowl. Need some recommendations please. All measurements were 100percent correct. Either my hinge bases are leaned back some or my cab is built a little different than most.

The instructions say it’s normal to have to use a shim on the outer hole on the base, the inside hole should be flush. If I go with that logic I will have a gap on all 4 holes on the front. Quality of the product looks awesome. I slotted my 4 front holes on both sides in case the hood doesn’t quite line up.

For future posterity, I found that the driver's side cowl area on my truck is spot welded at an angle that isn't 90 degrees to the cowl gutter/floor. The passenger side bolts up with no gaps nor shims required, but I'm going to remove the spot welds along the cowl and reattach at a 90 degree angle.
