Can i use a tahoe frame for square body shotbed

Does anyone know if i can use a Tahoe frame for a squarebody frame replacement?

The wb is different between a Tahoe and a swb...not much but it's different...I'm just guessing but I don't think the frame will be the same shape either...you didn't specify what yrs so it's just a guess....
Anything's possible..but if I needed a frame for a squarebody then I'd be looking for a square body frame,,,

Yeah what im looking at is using a 2003 tahoe frame as a replacement for a shortbed squarebody replacement frame that way i would have all of the newer drivetrain and i will also be pulling out all of the dash assembly to install the 03 assembly to have all the new stuff in the dash area.

Nothing wrong with a squarebody frame...you could rebuild the frame many times over for what youd have involved in a frame swap...all new bushings and shocks and you'd be good to go...personally I wouldn't even think about it...as far as the dash there are some nice upgraded digital dash for the squares....the tahoe dash isn't gonna "fit" in the without alot of mods.....again ...any thing is possible..

and starting with the 88-up body change the frames got much wider . so droping a older body on is not as simple as the old days .
