Re: Wheel Vintiques 16x8

I have these on a 14bff rear and a D44 big hub front. I have a D60 in the garage and I'm pretty sure these wheels fit just fine; the same as all the factory 16x6.5" wheels from the 70's and 80s.

Black looks great on the last to rigs pictured. Argonaut that side shot of your truck is awesome. That period canopy really sets it all off.

Re: Wheel Vintiques 16x8

Since the powder coat guy was just going to scuff the black powder coat before shooting the white, I went with scuffing them myself and painting white. Still powder coat on steel. I figured why go to the expense to sandblast and powder coat when the truck isn't restored. I'll do all that when truck gets restored. No matter what I did now would need refreshing on a restored truck

Re: Wheel Vintiques 16x8

Dark green 1969 K25 truck (paint code 505). I didn’t get the stock wheels so I’m about to get some naked steel wheels powder coated for it. I’m pretty sure the truck must have had black wheels to start with. I’ll probably run it without caps until I can find some dog dish caps for it. Soooooo, I’m thinking white but: Does anyone have a picture of argent silver wheels on a dark colored K20/K25?

Thinking of running 265/75/16 rubber, FWIW.
