tranny leaking

Gents.....been a while....hav e a 96 1/2 ton 4wd burb that just started to leak tranny fluid. But I cannot see where it is coming from as it is all over underneath. Now eone strange thing is when on highway, it vibrates when I take my foot off of the gas. It only does it in overdrive and not when I shift into 3 gears. I mean its a lot of fluid. What are the most common things to cause this?

Re: tranny leaking

Update: So I found out the cause of the leak but not the location. My boy way over filled the tranny. He was hoping more tranny fluid would help it run better. It goes up 5 inches above the full line on the dip stick. Guess I need to find a way to drain it or let it go out on its own till it stops. Might also be the cause of the vibration. Thoughts anyone?
