converting 87 sending unit to braided steel line

Does anyone have any info for going from my factory 87 sending unit out to engine? I plan on trying to use the factory lines from the 5.3 down to the fuel filter then just plumbing from the fuel tank sending unit to the inlet side of the factory fuel filter, and on the return line just jumping from the factory return line to the return inlet on the sending unit. Its either this or just getting fittings to convert the sending unit straight to -6 braided steel lines, any help would be great thanks.

What kind of pump are you using? Part number? I also want to do what you are.

And that pump mounts right into the 87 sending unit? Maybe you could fasten a fitting like RUS-640860 onto your sending unit ports? I don't know though, hopefully somebody else can chime in.

Im sure there are other less expensive places to get them... but Street and Performance sells adapters to go from the o ring fittings on the factory sender to AN fittings.
