I love that wood bed... that's problem-solving in action.

Re: where are all the 6 bangers?

I guess with all the LS love out there right now, the ole straight six is all but forgotten...

Re: where are all the 6 bangers?

Maybe. I just picked up a 77 C10 with a 292 3 speed, mostly for the nostalgia factor. Plan to get it running and driving again as is. Then possibly hot rod it a bit with stuff I have laying about, TBI with a waste spark coil pack on a megasquirt. Just have to find a 4 barrel intake for cheap.

Nope, still working a 250 inline 6 rebuild in this particular garage!

Re: where are all the 6 bangers?

I would trade all my small block stuff for inline 6 stuff. I want another 292.

Re: where are all the 6 bangers?

Had to take a couple years off for life, but still have 2 trucks powered by 250's, another parts truck, a replacement long block in build (307 pistons, little more cam, etc), and may have found a runner for my 82. Just gotta finish all the projects in front of them. Anyone want an 87 R10, fully loaded including a 6.2 diesel and a bunch of cores? No? LOL.l

292's seem to be really rare around here, guy wants $1000 for one that was pulled 20 years ago. A $600 runner went out the door in 2 hours.
