Thanks a lot guys!! The wood is actually stained. It's a tintable stain from home depot that I had them mix up for me. It's their best stain whatever that brand is, it has some polymer additive. I like it.. the wood is oak.. If I did it again, I probably would have done pine with the stain because pine would soak up the stain better. But the oak is a harder and heavier wood, so I guess its a trade off.

VERRRRY nice truck! I'm glad to hear it's a driver too. Why work so hard to make it look that good if you can't drive it? Don't you just love all the waves and high fives from passers by?

I know how proud of this truck you must be!! As many of us here on this forum know, it takes more than just money to build a truck like that, it takes an imense amount of dedication and hard work, an accomplishment many have tried and only a few will succeed. And by judging from your truck you are a huge success. Congrats!! Bill

Awesome! Is Tucker's still around? I'm originally from Henderson, been here in NM for 7 years. Anyhow, last time we were in Vegas, we went to Tucker's (where it used to be on Reno) and it was gone! Did they re-locate?

THanks again! it's a Lincoln Mark VIII fan/shroud... two speed fan and requires two 70 amp relays (one for each speed)!! sucker pulls some juice.. but you can feel the air flowing between the A/C condenser and radiator. something like 5500 cfm on low and 6600 on hi... someone can correct me...

I drive this every day... love it!

Everyone has said pretty much what I wanted to say. But I didnt see anyone call it Epic!! You did an awesome job on this truck. My hats off to ya for your hard work and determination. Got a question for ya though, I noticed that you've 86ed the tailgate chains. What type, and where did you get the tailate latches that are inside the gate itself? And did you install them yourself?

Once again bro, awesome job!

wow! thank you! the cables are from a ford but could have been any type. I just measured trhe drop and looked for them on ebay at the length I needed. I had someone put them on for me... but it didn't end up like I wanted, that is, the cables hidden. Didn't realize till it was too late. but still was better than the chains by far...
