seam sealer 84 c-10 doorjambs

What type of sealer to use on the door jambs? I am only needing to replace a small portion of sealer about 2 " so I would like some thing to match the stock sealer . Looking through 3m and other sites they seem to make about 100 different types.

I like using SEM seam sealer that is in a tube like for a caulk gun. You can put some on that small area, smooth it out, wet a finger with some wax and greaser remover and should be able to blend the new into the old.
