Jimmy is stripped and almost ready for paint. The windshield is being removed today and the last of the body should be sanded and prepped for paint. Hopefully it will be done next week! Staying factory blue

I cant wait.

its not cheap...total teardown and all panels sanded down to the metal. Its a shop in Moreno Valley... they are in the process of moving so I can get more info on them if you want it (when they get the new address).

Not great picks (phone) and it still needs a few things installed. But it turned out really nice. I will take better pics when its complete.

Guys in Southern CA looking for a body shop. I do recommend this guy even though it took him forever to complete.

He is in the process of moving his shop from Riverside to Menifee.

Blazer looks awsome I have 72 that will be painted after the holiidays same color, dig That factory blue and factory white steelie wheels. Did you shoot it with Laq. base paint or the new water base (Ca EPA Bull****) we can still get good paint in Vegas (thank's the lord I guess). Quick ?? are the wheels 15" or 16" mine has factory 16" is it lifted just wondering?

Haaa, ya that picture cracks me up. We have on with my daughter like that when she was a baby too.

Im not sure on the paint....now you have me wondering. I will have to ask about that. I need to get it back to the painter in the next week for a few things to be finished.

My wheels are 15", I have the dog bowls that go with them too, I took them off while it was being painted.

It had a 4 inch lift (stiff) but I wanted it closer to stock so I put a softride 2.5 on it. I rides really nice.

Thanks! I made it, I borrowed a friends and took it to a machine shop and had them bend me two straight bars to the same "U" shape. Then I welded the two crossbars. The angle of the back bar was tough to get just right so it would fit inside the hard top. Lots of trial and error....tacking it in place and then breaking it off and shortening, etc.

I would love to check out that area but My blazer is apart and still under construction. The pictures look cool, the blazer looks like it works good in the sand. What motor are you running? During the hoildays I will dig out some old pictures of old school sand dunning back in the day. My dads buddy had a 1972 k-5 with a 427 tri power paddles all four corners it worked awesome in the sand.
I could BS all day but Xmas is calling. Have a very merry xmas and will talk to later
