very nice looking 77 but come on with the 454 and t400 it will never get 13mpg. i have ran 454s before 8-9 mpg tops with load or no load my 77 crew with a 6.0 4l80e gets about the same mpgs 8-9 tops

Valid point. My buddy had one with 2.73 gears. It got 10 mpg no matter what.

My 78 Big 10 is a shortbed. Bought it new Christmas Eve of 1977. I'll admit, you don't see too many SWB Big 10's.
