Lift supports for Clamshell

Since aftermarket supports don't exist to my knowledge. Has anyone tried the early Bronco lift support?
Thanks Doug

Re: Lift supports for Clamshell

look into upper gate supports for older camper shells, i have been using a pair i got from a local RV supply store. they came with right angle end brackets, which i removed and put the ends of my original supports on. the supports are slightly shorter but work fine.
