My Work Truck 'Burb made the news tonight...sorta. :)

So, I was scheduled to meet the news lady for an interview at a hotel conference room. When we got there, the previous meeting was going long so since we were both pressed for time... we used the cargo area of my 'Burb as a backdrop and did the interview in the parking lot. It's too bad the inside of the barn doors aren't painted yet, I was planning on doing it this weekend for a show in West Virginia next weekend.

It just shows... a cool work truck will always find a way to get some attention

thanks! I was a little worried I'd look like a fool. Haven't done one of those in a few years. Nothing's better for business than FREE press.

Re: My Work Truck 'Burb made the news tonight...sorta. :)

that is great ... someone once asked "What would you do if you won the lotto?" I said, Well besides the obvious, you have to play to win, which I don't.
I would open a shop dedicated to restore classic trucks for the woking class.

Think of it, bringing back the ol'panel delivery truck, or a nice C-30 flatbed, knowing its just, if not more reliable than those Compooterized thin skinned trucks of today.

I mean would talk to a guy that drove a classic truck in mint condition with a rack on it sooner then I would the guy with the F350 4x4. That says to me ... he's in to details, and not big truck payments.

Just my $.03 ($.01 added due to Original Idea Tax)

That sounds like a good place for me to go truck shopping. I want a 70 Crewcab w/a Duramax Diesel.... a tall order

When you put those gloves on and got out the cup and were hidden behind those giant barn doors I was thinking the reporter was going to give you a sample test =)

Cool burb and nice job on the interview.

She's new. It was her first week out on her own. Her name was McKinsey. Yeah, I use to be the same way, but then TWC had a significant rate increase and we jumped to Direct TV, so I didn't even get to see the interview on TV, just the internet. oh well.
