What happened to Stitch?

Anyone know what happened to a member named stitch? I see his account is suspended. I was wanting him to recover a dash of mine years ago and am just getting the project going again, who is doing this kind of work now?

Re: What happened to Stitch?

When was he here last? I don't know what happened but gone is gone. Too bad you didn't make alternate contact with him while he was here. Not a bad idea to do that with other members you don't want to lose contact with.

What kind of work did he do, did you want? Can I assume french stitching?

Member "Grumpy Old Man" can do that for you. Here is an older post with some of his work.

It's what came up with a quick search....

Re: What happened to Stitch?

Thanks for the referral , But I'm building my own trucks now and altho I'd like to help out I really just don't have the time to go back to building interiors on a schedule . I do them when I have time and the ambition to get them done in a timely manner . Any local auto trim / upholstery shop should be able to build anything you may need . Right now my own projects keep me plenty busy .

Of course I did just buy another commercial sewing machine ? and I already have more than I need .

Re: What happened to Stitch?

the problem in my area is the few shops we do have ether suck or take for ever to even touch it . my friend had the 1 super good local guy do a rear seat for him was 500% happy with the job . dropped off 2 buckets for the front to have matched and done the same and 3 YEARS later after multiple stops and waving the cash in his face to do them he just picked them up and walked out .

i know how it is to have everyone want YOU to do stuff but never let YOU work on your stuff . . . .

good luck on the trucks and also good luck on finding a quality interior guy
