Re: Gun Rack

I guess mounting my rack would be no worse than the bullet shell door locks I have or the bullet shell overdrive power switch made from real spent shells. I also leave a few random caliber shells on the dash just for those couple guys that think there is a gun in there somewhere. The different shells could mean a few things. More than one gun or one or two on the owner about to catch you in his truck...

Re: Gun Rack

I use mine all the time ,but I am a avid hunter , in my area its not a big deal i do prefer the type that lock in to the window gasket, they are more user friendly as they will expand to just about any window size

Now I like that one! Where did you get it? I like how your dog is guarding your gun! Nice dog!

I also have a hat rack. Just a nostalgic thing that reminds me of the good ol' days. Up here in the great white north we also kept a straw curling broom in a stake pocket to clean the snow off.

That’s a fine looking bird dog and shotgun you have ! Mind telling us what make it is ? Took my vintage 52 Browning A5 yesterday. My chocolate lab Simon loves going with me on the hunt....

Love the hat rack. I’ve never seen one like that before. It looks like the perfect place to store your hat. Are those still available?

Re: Gun Rack

The only times I display a firearm is when I am open carrying on my person.

In 2001 I read how even NRA stickers on your car encourage thieves to break in. No stickers at all on my car.

As for the racks, I think those are neat, but I don't see much use for those these days and it's a pity.

Re: Gun Rack

Hi, is anyone here using an overhead truck gun rack? I know everyone here has the rear window gun rack and I want to know why you don't want one located overhead? I am leaning towards that after I stumbled across an article buyer's guide for truck gun racks. There are lots of options to choose from and the overhead gun rack is I am more comfortable of getting one. Any thoughts?

Re: Gun Rack

overhead racks work great on later model crew cab trucks, suburbans, blazers, etc. where they're not directly above your head.. not feasible in most older model single cab trucks..

Re: Gun Rack

I was thinking about putting a pintle mount on the roll bar of my Blazer, but my friend talked me out of it.

Re: Gun Rack

Anyone here tried or have installed an overhead gun rack? I feel uneasy at the back window and i feel more secured with an overhead one. I saw one the this page: https://sandburrgunranch.com/vehicle-gun-racks/ and I want to know any feedback?

Re: Gun Rack

According to Critical Race Theory taught in many schools, that gun rack implies racism. Consequently, having one in your vehicle validates any damage caused to your vehicle by peaceful protestors/model citizens. I wish I were kidding.....
