Is this coral color rare?

Been walking by this at the local wrecking yard for 3 years, and realized today that this may be a rare color? Coral-colored.

Re: Is this coral color rare?

It does look like Palomino Tan. Does not have an engine, has a 4speed and seems realitively straight. I will talk to the owner of the wrecking yard this week and see what he says. Interior looks good,no rear window(does have snaps inside around the window). The hood is in back of the truck and does have a tailgate on it. I will get more pics as well. I hate to see these neat old trucks go to waste! You guys are safe here-I only collect Suburbans!

Ice Coral Pink was a mid year color for 1971.

Re: Is this coral color rare?

I think you may be right on the palomino tan guess - here's a side by side with a faded palomino tan truck in another junkyard and a freshly painted one (seems to match the rubbed on area of the original post, mid-door (or is that just primer?)):

Re: Is this coral color rare?

It is absolutely Palamino Tan. It was a GMC color from the '60s that carried over to '67. Far more common in prior body style than on '67s. It's the color the front clip is that I am building my '67 GMC from
