I didn't think about a jack... definitely wouldn't fit under from the front. The low profile jack I have now barely fits under the front control arm.

I'm still going to try one...since there fairly cheep and see if I can still use the low profile jack without having to drive up on 2x12 boards.

Re: Added a front spoiler. Whadyathink?

It makes a considerable difference in air drag. It also creates a low pressure area behind it resulting in better cooling and airflow out of the engine bay. The guys up north get far less salt spray on the suspension.

On Modern full size trucks this single piece of plastic is good for 2-3 mpg at cruise speeds. Theres a reason every truck made since 1980's has them. They just work.

The issue is does it look good or not? I think it looks fine myself.

Re: Added a front spoiler. Whadyathink?

This is an update of sorts.
I was out on the road today, and noticed the "Air Dam" on the front of a Chevy "Colorado" pickup. Now please keep in mind that I don't know the length on it, but the shape and height of it may make it an option for those with lowered trucks. From the looks of it, I would guess it's about 2 1/2 inches wide and the curve has a ground effects shape.

Near as I can gather the Colorado is 4 inches narrower than the Silverado. Hope this helps

Looks more like ~4+ wide...depending on which picture you look at.

67-72 Chevy Truck front spoilers.

Easy to install spoiler give the front of the truck a nice finished look. Come with mounting hardware and instuctions. Made from 22 gauge steel with a black satin finish. $140.00 plus $40.00 shipping in the lower 48 states.

Re: Added a front spoiler. Whadyathink?

Hmmmm? Now you've got me thinking. Those look a lot like the front air dam on my 69 Camaro. It's plastic and around $40.

Re: Added a front spoiler. Whadyathink?

I've been thinking about the '69 Camaro one also. Just waiting for the car show season to start so I can check one out in person.
