What’s the correct fuel line to use for a big block SWB 70 C10 with the fuel tank relocated? I’m thinking the one I have is not correct. See pic and link below.

I ran a stainless line parallel to the brake line along the frame with short rubber sections on each end to the tank and to the fuel filter. Inline 3/8" OD, 25' roll from Amazon or eBay.

Thanks. Looks like I'll be ordering some.

Can't seem to figure out that bend at the front (for a big block) but I'll get it (hopefully).

Does anyone have a pic of that line installed? As bent, I'm not entirely sure how is should be installed. It looks nothing like my old line, but that's because the truck previously had an I6 in it.

Shout out for nickel copper tubing. It’s as corrosion-resistant as stainless, more or less the same price (probably a bit less) and infinitely easier to work with. It bends easily, and will forgive minor flare defects much more than stainless.

I’m hopeful there is at least one board vendor who sells it and I like to support those who support us so I won’t post any links.

One thing I would recommend is that if the line is exposed anywhere (not tucked into a frame rail) where an errant rock may fly up and hit it (you should try to avoid this at all costs) you should cover it with some coil or hose.

(Note, this is kind of a religious topic so I expect some strong opinions).

Beside the rear brake line

I know it goes beside the brake line. I'm having an issue with the section nearest the engine. I want to see if the bends are totally screwed up or I somehow need to reposition it. It's for a BB, so I don't have an old like to go off of.

Terminate the line however it is convenient for you to attach a rubber line to it and the fuel pump. It’s hard to say as header or fuel pump or radiator hose are all in the area and could change the approach.

Another shout out for nicopp line. So easy to work with.

Thanks. I think I might just wait to install after the engine is in. Sadly the cab will be back on before I get the engine back, but shouldn't be too big of a deal.
