wtb steel PS line

I am looking for a the steel line for the return power steering for an early 80's 4x4-not sure what all fits. It has a fitting with an o-ring that screws into the steering gear box. In the picture, it is the longer line, and has a smaller fitting than the high pressure line and the rubber hose clamps on. Mine has a crack in it from someone getting rough with it. I can't seem to find a new one this style.

Thank you. Doug

I bought one of these at Advance Auto a couple years ago. I had to tweak the line a little to get the clamp on but no big deal.

I will check them out. So far I haven’t been able to find a new one this style. Thank you!

AFAIK, application will be all 79-86 CK and all 87-91 RV 305 and 350. Parts store with proper fitting and o-ring end bulk and someone with quality bender and double flare kit could duplicate. I've done it. In the northeast salt-belt here, all the nuts are welded to the tube with rust. Same result happens. Careful application of heat can sometimes save you.

That you for the great information! I hope to find a good used one before I have to find someone with the right tools to make one.

According to GonicGM, that should work if it is from the correct year range. I would be very interested. Could you post a picture?

thanks for your time! Doug
