What paint did you use for flat black? turned out super... I wanna redo mine, its faded a little, over time from sun and washing. Love this truck man, it totally what i would go for, im kinda jealos lol. I love my 81 but the older models are just to sweet, specialy bagged and grounded!
Thanks a bunch!
The paint is Hot Rod Black:HRF 201 and the interior is Mopar green.

Thanks! The inside of the bed is just primer for now. I still have a bunch of work to do back there so I left it in primer. The goal is to have it rino lined lime green to match the interior and I am making a cover that will be flat black.

The guy at the body shop has a little bit more work to do and the parts will be in final primer. The next step is to put the entire body on the chassis and make sure it all fits correctly. THen it will get painted. Your truck looks great! I bet your son enjoys every drive you get to take together. I am hoping if things keep going well that I can be driving mine next year. I have purchased a few Porterbuilt items and they look great on the truck. Stay in touch!
Awesome man! Yea we are having fun in it. I already have to fix a few things..... Damn thing is low! I caught the sway bar bolt on something and bent it. I wish I went with the dropmember but I will get it sometime.
Can't wait to see some pics of yours!

Re: My First

I have decided to install One piece door glass kit from One Piece Products. I am looking for some feed back as to how well they work and if they are worth the money. If anyone has installed these windows on their truck let me know how you like them.

Thanks

Not much progress unless you consider adding mileage to the odometer progress

I have been working out of time so much that I haven't had much time for anything. I did purchase a new dash pad and installed a new tonneau cover. I will get some pics and more updates soon.

Thanks for keeping me in check!

Unhappy Re: My First

Was in Trenton yesterday. Saw a blue, 67-68 fleetside with wide racing stripes. Was that you? Was with my mom, and she don't like noisy stuff( her words ) so I couldn't try and catchup to BS.

No mine is flat black. I think I am the only one in the area with a flat black and lowered.

Just read thru. VERY VERY nice. Exactly the kind of truck to tempt even the most stable individual into wanting one.

Drop spindles with Porterbuilt Control arms. Sits very nice but with the stock crossmember the control arm pockets hang dangerously low and so does the sway bar. If I am not paying attention to the contour in the road it gets to rubbn quick..... The arms are a saving grace right now because they are about 1/2" lower than my 7qt oil pan at ride height.

I love the contrast of the pinstriping and the interior. A punch of unexpected color. Tastefully done.
