antenna base
does anyone know where a person can get a replacement antenna base,that will work and is not a lousy aftermarket reproduction? Have ordered two so far and neither one will work,finally the wires broke in the original one. Know it was the original as I'm the original owner of the truck. It is a1969 c-10.

I replaced my original 1969 antenna with a reproduction with a fixed mast, and it worked fine. I'd think that the telescoping and fixed mast reproductions would use the same base. However, the repro cable is hardwired into the base rather than plugging in. The pictures below show my original antenna base and the new antenna installed.
