LED flasher
I thought i had read enough to fix such a little problem but nooo. I put some led tail lights and front turn signals in my 90 454SS, I did the research and it said use CFL13 JL-02 on some sites and CFL13 GL-02 flasher on other sites. I went with the JL version. When I plug it in I get nothing, No more rapid flashing and now no flashing at all. What gives?

LEDs are polarity sensitive. Try inserting the bulb rotated 180° out from where it is and see if it works.
EDIT: Sorry, just realized I may be misunderstanding your post. Are you dealing with the flasher on fully sealed new light housings with bulbs preinstalled, or did you install new LED bulbs in stock housings and are trying to get them working with a new flasher? Did you see this thread over on GMT400?

I can would use the factory flasher relay and install load simulators(resistors).

I went through a couple to get flashers to work on my 94. Load resistors kind of defeat one of the purposes of led's, to lower the current drain on the system. The load resistors just turn energy into heat. Originally installed load resistors but took them out after noticing how hot they get. Think I got this one at Oreilly's.

The biggest reason for going LED is for looks, not current draw. Incandescent light bulbs get hot too.
