Calling all big block wizards
Do the brackets on this engine look similar to a truck engine? would they work for use in a 68 c10?

your water pump is the key factor for your brackets. Long pump a d short pump have different brackets

If you're not looking for a period correct set-up, I went with a Kwik performance set up and used the serpentine set up off the 91 GMC small block I swapped out for a 454. It's 4 plates that bold to the heads and lower acc holes on the block. It called for a reverse flow water pump and a 1 inch longer belt. Easy to install, nice workmanship on the aluminum pieces and uses stock belt.
