LS1 and nv4500 5peed

Can a nv4500 5 speed be mated with a LS1 engine.

My question went unanswered, someone must know. Was the ls1 only designed to be run with an automatic transmission or can the computer be reprogramed to run with a 5 speed transmission.

I checked on the same thing recently (might try a search in this section ) The 6.0 was available for a few years with a NV4500. That bell housing and clutch will make it work,,, but there was some concern about the pilot bearing...

Short of it,, yes it will work just find the correct parts and pieces.
