Cab has been in two pieces for over 10 years and never been braced

I'm worried that the cab is warped on a 1950 Chevy 5 window. Somebody cut it in half to convert to to a 5 window and didn't brace it in any way. They cut the pillars and the back of the cab about at the half way point. Anybody think it's worth messing with or would I likely be better off getting a different cab.

I'm on a phone so pictures arn't exactly something I can post

Good questions. I'd probably try and find another cab unless you have some pretty good fabbing skills. Pictures would help.

Re: Cab has been in two pieces for over 10 years and never been braced

Yeah if I could remember how to post pictures off my phone it would be great but I'll have to download them to a computer. It's actually two cabs but everything looks like its lining up perfectly and I'd prefer to keep it a 5 window. Though only a few feet from it have another cab 51+ that I could fab the side vent into. My main issue is the fact that I don't have a mig of tig welder. I'm not afraid to try fabricating something that's already most likely ruined but I'm not going to try it with an ark welder.

From the appearance of things it did. If you look about half way up the cab you can see the cut that top is not attached what so ever its only like that in hopes that it might reduce any damage
