I ordered the fabric from SMS. Its reproduction, but original design and when compared to the original material....you could not tell. The vinyl is marine grade and I picked it up locally for around $10 a yard. I know the originals were fawn or red, but my interior will be blue and white, so I went blue and white on the vinyl. He's doing the sunvisors to match next week.

Materials ran around $150 for 1.5 yards cloth, the vinyl was $10 per yard. Labor was $350 and it included new foam, burlap and assembly. I provided the original 63 truck seat and a 63 deluxe seat cover for a template. So I have around $500 total invested.

What is SMS? I just got a 63 stepside and it has bucket seats in it now. Looking to get a bench seat for it and have had no luck. So I guess I have to have one made. Any more info would help thanks

SMS Auto fabrics. They are in Oregon. I can get you the item # on the fabric. You will need 1.5 yards and I picked up a yard of blue and a 1/4yd of white. You should be able to find a bench in those parts pretty easy. Check your local craigslist or the classifieds here on the forum.

Very cool. Congrats on the new purchase, my 1st vehicle ever was a 63 c-10 and I've been hooked ever since. You've come to a great forum and will find tons of info to help out. Don't be afraid to ask either, odds are someone here has dealt with what ever issue you come up with.

Thanks 60sIron. I wanted an original style deluxe seat, just in blue. Heres a pic w/the seatbelts and the interior color. Looks like it'll all go together pretty good.

The 63 Fabric has a rainbow of colors in the metallic type threads that are woven into it. Looks good with the blue as well.

yeah, a few differnt colors...alot of gold in it....still have 2yds for you here to aerotruck63. theres a few other colors of vinyl that'd look great w/it. id like to see one in black & white

Heres a 66 seat that was listed on ebay. Haven't seen one in this color yet. Maybe one of the 66 guys can lend more info on if its stock color or not. Has a build sheet still in the back. Not mine....but pricey
