How about adding a power booster and dual master cylinder to all drum brakes on 1965 - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Maybe just putting on the newer power booster and dual master cylinder would help the back brakes from locking up, would it even fit, what kind of modifications will I need to do? 1983 custom deluxe half ton donor truck

You can install the booster and dual master cylinder on your '65 as long as you use the later model proportioning valve. If it were mine I'd put the disc brakes on too.

did my 67 and 70 both with drums it is nite and day difference! should be first thing anybody does!
