Are 4x4 Burbs Rare?

Just wondering about this, most I ever see are 2wd around here and just curious what the production numbers look like between 2wd and 4x4? Sorry if this has been discussed before I couldnt find a thread.

Re: Are 4x4 Burbs Rare?

The 4wd panels are rare, the 4wd burbs are less common, wouldnt call them rare.Although the early models 67-68s were rare in contrast to the newer ones(69+)

Re: Are 4x4 Burbs Rare?

I thought all 3 doors were rare?I`d say compared to all vehicles that 4wd Suburbans are rare,67/72.

Mine is a canadian 68 4x4 Gmc burb with the rear gate(also the 920 series or canadian c/20 )There was 4 built here in 1968.

our 67 and 68 truck in canada had 910,920,930 and 960 markings only on the gmc and between the first two letters in the vin will be a "9".

here is a pic of ours as we found it(the paint and interior is original and was custom ordered this way)

Re: Are 4x4 Burbs Rare?

Anybody know how many 1970 K/20 'Burbs were made that had a 350 V8, TH350 auto, with the full custom trim package? It was also ordered with dual batteries, pushbutton AM radio, manual throttle, front locking hubs, HD suspension, almost everything besides shoulder belts.
